1. Why choose stainless steel drawer slides?
Our slides can be used in a wide range of industrial applications. Reinforced slides, linear slides, ball bearing slides or rolling guides. Stainless steel slides can be offered with a locking system to suit your needs. In many projects, only a slide with a lock would enable you to completely block a drawer. However, it’s not always possible to add a lock, especially for short drawer lengths. Here are the different locking systems available on stainless steel drawer runners:
- Lock open: when extended, the telescopic slide can be folded up by simply pressing the lock.
- Locking closed: When folded, the lock must be operated to unfold the slide.
- Locking open and closed: The above two actions must be performed on the latch to lock the drawer.
Our stainless steel telescopic slides have a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +80°C. However, depending on your project, it is possible to go up to operating temperatures of -50°C to +250°C after intervention by our factory teams. It is also possible to increase or decrease the standard size of telescopic slides by 10%. However, it should be borne in mind that an increase in the size of a slide means it loses strength in terms of the maximum load it can support.
