Telescopic slide - Full extension - Nitrided steel
E1432
The E1432 telescopic slide is ultra-compact and offers full extension and smooth movement.
This slide is suitable for applications involving heavy loads.
It is made up of 3 nitrided corrosion-resistant steel components and is black in colour.
Its nitriding treatment (perimeter hardening) produces a low roughness and therefore reduces friction coefficients.
Features :
– Steel slide
– Intermediate I-section for high load resistance
– Minimal deflection under load
– Very favourable slide mass/load ratio
– Corrosion resistance: 600h BS
– Polyamide hard stops to withstand emergency openings while minimising noise levels
– Length range: 250 mm to 1000 mm
Options
- E1400 Standard

Applications
The E1432 telescopic slide is designed for a wide range of applications.
Its compact design makes it easy to fit under mobile devices. It also has the advantage of excellent torque resistance.
Here are a few examples of how the E1432 slide can be used:
– Industrial bodywork :
Drawers and trays where on-board weight is an issue
Location optimisation (applications with a small footprint)
– Aeronautics
Sliding seats
Emergency equipment drawers
– Wide applications (drawers, trays)
Recommended operating temperatures: -20 to 80°C.
As this slide is compact, avoid mounting it flat: there is a risk of the elements jamming against each other when opening. In addition, flat mounting results in significant deflection.
Manufacturing
Chambrelan manufactures this slide on the basis of cold-drawn steel sections.
It is supplied as standard with a nitriding treatment.
It is fitted with :
– for closing at the ends of the sliders (steel screw + plastic washer)
– for opening, stamped on the intermediate and steel pin on the slider.
It has electro-galvanised steel ball cages.
The balls are made of 100C6 chromium steel.
It is greased with a blue adhesive grease (Chambrelan grease).
Maintenance
As standard, our slides are delivered lightly greased from the factory. We use a high-pressure bearing grease for steel slides, and a white grease for aluminium and stainless steel slides. On request, we can use a food-grade grease (cleanroom compatible), a high-temperature grease, a Teflon-free grease (paint booths) or a greaseless assembly (although we do not recommend this option).
Food-grade grease, combined with stainless steel balls, offers an economical alternative to all-stainless steel slides.
Options
Assembly with stainless steel balls
It can be fitted with stainless steel balls to provide excellent corrosion resistance, which in some cases can be an economical alternative to stainless steel slides.
High temperature use (oven type)
Factory adaptation is required for use outside the recommended temperatures.
Modification of the standard
– Development: this model can be increased by 10% or decreased. An increase in development reduces the maximum permissible load.
– Custom lengths and strokes
– Made-to-measure drilling pattern
– Vertical mounting (guillotine type)
