CHAMBRELAN has been testing its rails for the doors of Alstom’s future trams in China

Here is a short summary of CHAMBRELAN‘s presentation in the Paris-Normandie newspaper: CHAMBRELAN has been testing its rails for a few weeks, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: the rails for the doors of Alstom’s future tramways. To be approved by Alstom, the telescopic rails will have to withstand three million openings and closures. In order to match the tramway’s trainsets, which are expected to have a life span of forty years. Chinese industrialists came to Le Havre to visit the production site and confirm the specifications and characteristics of this test. To meet this specific demand, CHAMBRELAN has developed a range of specific guide rails: harder and more resistant, thanks to the carbon gas reinforcement technique. Equipped with 2 ball bearing slides, the rails must resist extreme temperature conditions (from -40°C to +130°C) and dust. The sensors in place measure all the data. All manufacturing is then carried out in the CHAMBRELAN workshops.     industrial linear rail and its ball bearing runner E50-G52 The results of this test are scheduled to be presented to Alstom’s Chinese tramway door manufacturer customer in the summer of 2020. This market is a “big market” for the CHAMBRELAN company and opens up significant development potential in the far east markets. CHAMBRELAN has a large share of customers in the railway sector and is therefore continuing its development in this market. The company has six subsidiaries in Germany, the Benelux countries, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom and Canada. It achieves a turnover of more than €12 million per year, 70% of which is exported. For more information, do not hesitate to contact us.
